Generally in Cuba we use to despite Passive voice, I don't know why but I hope, those reasons help you to change your mind.
We gonna use passive voice when:
1-The actor is unknown:
2-The actor is irrelevant: ...
3-You want to be vague about who is responsible: ...
4-You are talking about a general truth: 5-You want to emphasize the person or thing acted on.
6-You are writing in a scientific genre that traditionally relies on passive voice.
7- actor is evident
8- You don't want to show who actor is
Not to be pedantic, but there are some grammatical errors worth noticing, considering the nature of this sub-forum:

Despise*, or more appropriately: "We don't generally use passive voice in Cuba".
(Why mention Cuba, specifically, though? Isn't this a language thing?)
Rey Issac wrote:I hope, those reasons help you to change your mind
"I hope that these reasons help change your mind"
(Still a weird thing to say in this context...)

Drop the "gonna".

"Despite" is a preposition; the other definitions are obsolete. See for yourself:
Now, this is just plain wrong. Words are abstract, of course you can't touch them in the literal sense, but that's irrelevant. "Those" is the plural form of "that" as well as "these" is the plural of "this". Let me put it this way: would you say "that time the skies are gray" or "this time..."? Is " time" something you can touch?
Also, we don't say "we're gonna do x" when we're already doing x. I mean, you could, but...
EDIT: Typo. (I hate typing on a phone.)
Rey Issac wrote:Despite also means "despreciar", both are correct, but people are always find the way of find mistakes in others
Where did I say otherwise? I said such uses are obsolete, i.e. people no longer use it use that way.
Rey Issac wrote:No matter if people use or not that way, English is just one and that way is right
Now this is borderline philosophical.
FFS do you listen to yourself? Languages don't exist in a vacuum. They are also not static; they evolve.
Tangentially related, if I said the RAE -not the people- defines what Spanish is and is not, would you agree? I sure hope not.

it is known that those will despise x -- se sabe que esos van a despreciar x
it is known that these will despise x -- se sabe que estos van a despreciar x

Slds. ?
These y those se usan para referirse a objetos o personas en plural, these para los que están cerca y those para los que están lejos.
Ejemplo:
"These tomatoes are red" (estos tomates son rojos) o "Those students are in 2nd grade" (esos estudiantes están en 2do grado)
La estructura gramatical en inglés es diferente al español, para decir "eso va a despreciar" sería "that will despise" o "that is going to despise" usando that porque esa es la forma que se usa en singular para "eso".
Rey Issac wrote:Despite also means "despreciar", both are correct, but people are always find the way of find mistakes in others
Actually, it doesn't
